The Top 5 Trusted Facts about Bally's.

Was once the MGM Grand, until early 1980's, and then became Bally's.  At least one tower of rooms has been renovated in the last 15 years and so the rooms are much more modern than the casino.

A floor of shops are above the Casino and link through to The Paris.

There is a monorail station here, meaning that ten minutes walk through the hotel will take you to a station connected to most of The Strip.

Location is fantastic.  Just over the road from The Cromwell, Caesars Palace and the Bellagio you are almost connected fully to each side of The Strip.

Bally's show JUBILEE has been running a long tim, and promoting it is a huge image of a bottom.  You may recognise it.

The Reviews Worth Listening To

THE GOOD

Cost. This is a very affordable option right centre on the strip.  Much more of a resort than staying at a travel-inn or similar nearby.

Large rooms and bathrooms, linked to The Paris, and lots of fast food options here.

THE BAD

Lots of reviewers say lack of fridge in rooms is a problem... So if you like having somewhere to store your...cold things... Then BEWARE!

The hotel, in general, is everything 'old school'  It is ACTUALLY old therefore many reviews say it is a little rough around the edges, cleanliness could be improved, and generally has a feeling of 1970's about it.

PAY ATTENTION TO

Almost every hotel in Vegas has a plethora of reviews saying the smoke smell was a problem.  We don't mention them because we think its hardly ever a real problem.  Ok, so most people hate the smell of smoke, and its unusual to still have hotels and casinos which allow smoking, but the air conditioning is so good you can avoid it.  That said, Bally's is certainly a hotel from the olden-days of Vegas, and it does seem to be more prevalent here.  Maybe the clientelle is of an age where smoking is more widespread OR are more likely to complain about it!...
