THE PLAN

Your aim today? Reach The Mandalay Bay. However, not many make it so far in a day, so make sure you turn back in time to catch your show!

Breakfast at Mon Ami Gabi. Sit beneath the Eifel Tower overlooking the Bellagio Fountains and watch all human life pass on the Strip whilst eating delicious breakfast that isn't too big or too small, just like in Paris.

Walk The Strip:  This is a first time walk that must be done.

South Route (To the left as you look from Man Ami to the fountains).

1.  Planet Hollywood Casino and The Miracle Mile Shops. Be careful, you can lose a day at the first stop!

2. The Cosmopolitan. Over the road to the corner opposite PH. In the Cosmo you'll find the Chandelier bar, and floors of shops leading through to the walkway across to

3. The shops at Crystals. Hi end luxury shops such as Tiffany's will please the eye or hurt the wallet.

4. The Mandarin Oriental and Monte Carlo are both to be enjoyed before a short walk outdoors down to New York New York.  If you're not ready for Lunch yet, you obviously ate a few too many croissants for breakfast.  In

5. New York New York. You'll find endless food options, but a New York Slice of pizza or a trip to the Duelling Piano's bar would be a great rest for the feet.

6. MGM Grand is over the walkway across the strip, a place to get lost surely.  And who knows, maybe they'll bring the Lions back soon (a zoo was resident for a long time). From here make a decision - to Hooters or not to Hooters. Either on ethical grounds or because this next stage requires some more outdoors work (heat) If not, then skip 7 and 8...

7. Hooters! Walk out of the main entrance of the MGM and you're over the road from Hooters. Buy yourself a T Shirt, maybe try the hot chicken wings (as delightful as the waitresses), and feel like you're in a southern smoky bar with questionable morals.  Out the door, back toward the strip and next door you'll find...

8. The Tropicana is a well designed white building that feels a little art deco.  Its a short stop off before heading back over the road to...

9. Excalibur, Luxor, Mandalay Bay.  All three are linked indoors and they get better as they go.  If you've made it this far in a day well done, and may we recommend highly...

10.  Dinner at The Bayside Buffet at the Mandalay Bay.  There are plenty of shops along the way, and you're probably exhausted by this point, but you simply have to take the elevator near the theatre and go to the top floor cocktail bar and take a look at the view.  Amazing.

11. Head back to the Bellagio for 8pm. The Bellagio has many works of art, special exhibitions in the botanical gardens, a chocolate fountain...This is a nice place to land and get a new burst of energy or just to observe as you make your way to the theatre.

12. Watch 'O'. Hopefully you've planned in advance, but if in Vegas for one day, book for 'O' at the Bellagio.  Just before or after you could...

13. Stand and watch the Bellagio Fountains. They run every fifteen minutes until Midnight, and are best enjoyed at night when the lights and music and atmosphere of the strip take off.

14. Cabo Wabo. Just on the corner outside Planet Hollywood is another place to view the fountains al fresco.  A jug of Sangria perhaps to digest what you'd done today.

15. And if you're not in bed yet.... Hyde at The Bellagio. A nightcap at Hyde is stunning.  The club is just inside the Bellagio on the right hand wall of the Casino and overlooks the fountains as close as you can get. If you've got the energy...

THE TIPS

Show tip. After you've booked check - if your ticket is a 'Will Call' ticket, you have to go and pick it up by a certain time.  Fact this into your timings!

Ask for a seat outside.  Inside, at Mon Ami Gabi, the food is the same obviously, and is a lovely restaurant, but if you have to wait 15 minutes for a seat outside it's the best spot in Vegas for outdoor breakfast.

While at the Paris you could take a trip up the Eifel tower - 10 dollars approx during the day.

Free drinks or see the sites. You can sit on a one cent gambling machine in each casino and wait for the cocktail waitress to take your free-drink-order. A drink, alcoholic or not, in each casino will break up the walk nicely. If you don't want to sit and gamble, there are enough shops, avenues, walkways, works of art, and many other features in each hotel. You can lose an hour in each place no problem, so best to just enjoy it than worry about finishing on time.  Just turn around and go back if you get enough.

Just past the Mandalay Bay, in the middle of the road is.. The WELCOME TO VEGAS sign. Yes, that one. It's in the middle of the road, and has space there to take a photo.  If your feet can handle another thousand meters, grab a pick.  Or maybe stop here on your last day on the way to the airport... Your feet might make the decision for you.

Take the easy way back... If you get on the trams and monorail (long option), or jump in a taxi (short option) at the Mandalay bay and make it back to the Bellagio. Alternatively, stay at the Mandalay Bay and watch their show -- Cirque Du Soleil's Michael Jackson show.  Its very good. Performances in Vegas often happen at 2pm, 7.30pm or 9pm, sometimes all three.

Breakfast at Dupar's Diner. The best breakfast in Vegas. It is inside the Golden Gate Casino, which is on Freemont Street at the very top opposite the Plaza.

Photo outside the Plaza.  You've seen this hotel in more movies than you remember. Robert Deniro has walked this driveway many times, and a great view back down Freemont (if the stage isn't blocking the view)

Walk down to Main Street Station Casino and Brewery. We like Main Street Station because it has a wild west feel.  Large Chandeliers line the ceiling, and the bar has its own Brewery!

Wander back via the stairs by the door and over the walkway into California Hotel and Casino - No amazing things to see here, but all human life is here as you make your way back to...

Meander Freemont Street.  Stay as long or short as you like then, with the Golden Nugget on your left, take a left, walk two blocks into concreteville, then take a right and you'll see a big square old court building which is the amazing...

Mob Museum. Award winning, this museum is the envy of many museums around the globe.  As much an experience as you walk through its rooms, and as morally ambiguous as one would expect in Vegas.  Take your time, which can easily be a few hours.

Back to Freemont or Stop in at The Downtown Grand.  A very new hotel for Vegas, over the road from the Mob Museum, is a nice place to stop in and talk about what you've just done, rest the feet.

An Afternoon Swim. It's time to relax.  You're feet will have worked hard enough.

Dinner - Two top Trusted options for your evening meal depending on where you are and what transport you have.

1. Vic and Anthony's Steakhouse - Inside the Golden Nugget this is not a cheap option (for Vegas) but is certainly good value considering it has been voted one of the best restaurants in the USA. The steak is delicious and the staff are superb.

2. The Peppermill Fireside Lounge - It really isn't much to look at from the outside, but once inside its 70's, Neon, and has both an open fire and a set of trees growing indoors.  The food is to die for.

The Stratosphere. What a view for after-dinner drinks.  This is another option for food if you want to sit in the revolving restaurant, but the above food choices are much better. The Stratosphere is best for the view.  The highest point in Vegas.

The Freemont Street Experience. See the lights show, see the acts, get lost in the buzz and the noise, until you just can't take any more.

Getting there.  If you're not staying downtown, take a taxi or drive your car to The Golden Nugget, and walk through the lobby doors straight ahead.  This way you get to see the Golden Nugget's Shark Pool!  Once you've seen it, turn right and walk through the casino out onto Freemont Street. Turn left, you're a few doors from The Golden Gate and Dupar's.

Try the Pancakes at Dupar's- you don't need as many as you think!  The Short Stack is huge.  The entire menu is delicious, the corned beef hash to die for, and the coffee and fresh orange is a taste of California (hence 'Golden Gate').

Oscar's at The Plaza. Oscar is a Vegas legend.  There are pictures of Oscar in his restaurant on the first floor of the Plaza, with many a famous person.  If you're not hungry or thirsty yet, come back later perhaps.  A better view of Downtown Vegas is hard to find from the semi-circular windows at the head of Freemont Street in Oscars.

A small beer?- Too early for a taste of their own Brew?  It's rare to find a great brewery and this is some lovely beer, worth a taste.

Lots or little to do. In the quiet of day Freemont is a great place to wander, people watch, have a coffee or even ride the Zip line.

Exit Through The Gift Shop. Often there are guest book-signers, and often they are ex mobsters or people linked to the mob world.  If you know anyone who likes boos of this ilk its a great Birthday present mine!

If staying Downtown head back to the pool, or see if you can visit the Golden Nugget as a non guest - it is rumoured to be $20 to do so, but can get very busy.

A taxi, car, or bus is needed to reach the Peppermill.  This is in a car park between he Riviera and The Wynn.

Be aware, the Peppermill portions are HUGE. The food is phenomenal so pick wisely, but you don't need two courses!

You can throw yourself off the Stratosphere on The Skyjump (a vertical zip line, like a controlled bungee), ride the theme park rides on top, or just soak in the view. Get there for sunset if you can.

Top TIp: You may have to queue to go up to the observation deck where all of the above are. However, if you're happy to stay indoors and have a cocktail, ask for the lift to the bar 'LEVEL 107'. It's a sleek cocktail lounge, offering phenomenal views and comfy seats.  Again, be sure to ask for the correct life so you avoid paying and queuing.

Ok, so you're tired, but you're in Vegas, and you can have a lie in tomorrow. The light show happens every fifteen minutes or so, and depending on your taste its either great fun, or a bit over-sold!  But hey, the entire street goes dark and a show happens above your head.  And its FREE.  Come on, it's worth it.

you can drive your boat almost up to the dam, you can see the boat harbor just over the hills in the picture, the lake is to the right.

If you can't, won't, or don't want to hire a car you have a couple of options which break into hundreds of options RIGHT. Or below, Trusted's Excursions which require you behind the wheel.

1.  Lake Mead / Hoover Dam

2. Grand Canyon South Rim

3. Grand Canyon North Rim

4. Death Valley

Breakfast at Hash House a go go. Be warned, this food is huge and amazing. The venue is also brilliant, you have to see it to believe it, if you don't trust us, trust Adam Richmond of Man Versus Food.

Drive to Lake Mead (Las Vegas Boat Harbour. 30-45 mins drive from Vegas and you can be cruising, flying, skimming, or swimming the waters of Lake Mead, almost touching the Hoover Dam by your side. SO much fun.

Speed Boat. Park up, walk onto the Jetty and get your boat from inside the shop on the right.

Swim. Obvious safety instructions - stop the boat properly, swim if your good at it etc... But swimming in Lake Mead in the height of Summer is like shrinking yourself in a mineral water bottle. Beautiful.

Tour The Hoover Dam - A piece of history and a place with some of the best statistics you'll ever quote... We won't ruin them for you now.

Dinner at Gordon Ramsey's BURGR.  Drive back to park at Planet Hollywood or The Paris. Inside Planet Hollywood. Described as High-end burgers & hot dogs offered with cocktails in a snazzy, colorful atmosphere.  Its the perfect end to a day in the open air and on the road.

Try a Club! If you're a clubber, why not get booked into the guest list of XS at Encore, or Hakassan at the MGM.  For that matter, any number of other clubs (check out our clubs page for more info).

Coach Trip. You cannot move for offers to go on excursions via coach in Vegas. Read our page on The Grand Canyon before deciding which 'Rim' to chose.

Plane/Helicopter. There are some great flights from Maverick. The night flight over Vegas is stunning - the lights, the black desert beyond... For varying costs you can go out to the Grand Canyon.  If you want to do the Canyon in style - and quickly - check out the options.

As you have a car, why not get breakfast at a place a little further out of town, but so SO good.

Hash House a go go is 'twisted farm food', which makes is sound like a horror movie.  But this is possibly the best modern breakfast you'll ever eat.

Free Wi Fi here which we wouldn't normally note, but its worth remembering to download a Sat Nav for your day out, and if you haven't, do it now:-)

From 50 dollars per hour you can hire the boat.  A jetski is less.  An hour is enough to enjoy yourself but the longer the better, and remember - this is Nevada - those boats are pretty much unlimited in speed, drive with care! Book here.

Hoover Dam Tour Options - There is a Powerplant Tour (930am-3.55pm) which lasts 30 mins and a Dam Tour that lasts about an hour.  Each is around 10 dollars per person. Details and book here.

You're probably still full from breakfast but one of Gordon's burgers, and some fries will be just enough. And the prices are reasonable too, about 12 - 16 dollars a burger.  Sorry, Burgr.

Alternatively If you want a more relaxing club, and didn't make it to Hyde at the Bellagio last night, try a nightcap there tonight.

Trusted Grand Canyon:

South Rim / Route 66

Download Itinerary Here.

Not for the faint hearted.

You will need: An early start, you're doing a lot of driving today.  A LOT. If you want to break this trip up with a night in a hotel at the Grand Canyon, that is an option (detailed at the bottom right), but we work in days of 24 hours, and we have done these trips.

Take it in turns driving. Take a lot of water, and fill up the tank when you see a gas station.

Trusted Grand Canyon - North Rim

Download Itinerary Here.

Another hard task...  Oh its not that bad, but with this one you get altitude as well as long distance driving.  And it's worth the wait.  You're going to drive through 3 states, and a time zone, but it's worth it.

You will need: An early start, you're doing a lot of driving today.  A LOT.

If you want to break this trip up a night at The North Rim is really great. Details at the end.

Take it in turns driving. Take a lot of water, and fill up the tank when you see a gas station.

7am Get in the car. Set the Sat Nav for Grand Canyon South Rim, or Grand Canyon Village. Enlarge the map for more below if you struggle.

Follow That Sat Nav - You will see endless desert, the sat nav will say 'next left 400 miles' and such.

Route 66 Museum.  When you turn onto Highway 40, give yourself a medal, you're now driving on Route 66. If you want to stop in Kingman there is a Route 66 Museum which nicely breaks up the time.

You should be 2 hours into your journey now.

Head on for 2.45 hrs and you're here at The Grand Canyon.  Have lunch, soak up the view.

Fill up, head back, stay awake,  and change driver!  If you do want to stay overnight check out:

The North Rim is very different from The South Rim, and is our favourite but read the differences to avoid disappointment.

Buy water, but forget breakfast - your first stop is going to be breakfast.

7.30am Get in the car. Set the Sat Nav for St George Utah, specifically 1245 S Main St, St George, UT 84770, United States.  This is your first stop, at the lovely Black Bear Diner.

9 am Breakfast at Black Bear Diner - Lovely home style cooking.  Black Bear is a chain restaurant, but its a chain made up for recipes suggested by moms and staff.  There is one in Vegas too, well worth seeking out, but on a long road trip like this it beats a greasy burger and gives you a proper break in the journey.

10am Leave for Grand Canyon North Rim.  Put North Rim into the Sat Nav (click map enlarge for more) and set off!

1pm Arrive at the North Rim.  Once there, you'll know what to do!  Enjoy it.

Take as long as you like. You've done the journey, now you have to do it in reverse, including the stop in St George if you like. There are walks, and the restaurant, and activities to do, but the beauty of the North Rim is its quiet, almost Canadian green calmness. Relax.

Allow 5 hours to drive home, and remember you've gone forward one hour on the journey, which you will gain back.

Before you see the lights of Vegas approaching pull up somewhere safe, and look at the sky. A rare chance to see every star in the sky.  You'll see a shooting star for sure ;-)

Breakfast- Grab a quick bite to take with you from a shop in your hotel.

Know Why The Map Is Important. This route we are telling you about is for the SOUTH rim of the Grand Canyon.  This is the most famous viewpoint you will have seen on TV your whole life.  If your Sat Nav accidentally selects a different Rim, it won't be the same place.  So be sure.  There is only one 'Grand Canyon Village' and it is in Arizona.

Pick the tunes and keep an eye on the GAS!  Don't forget water and provisions, and make sure you don't use your phone battery.  You've a long day to test it, and you're going remote!

This is a nice kitsch stop off, albeit a little spooky when quiet...

At The Canyon, even if you only spend an hour here its enough, but if you're on time, you've got five hours here and still enough time to get back to Vegas for an evening meal.

Cheap (for Grand Canyon), a couple of miles back, but Excellent - The Best Western Premier Grand Canyon Squire here

Or More expensive but right on the edge of the Canyon - The Thunderbird Lodge.

Pack for the desert and the mountains - The North Rim can be chillier than the South, and it is worth taking - along with your water, water, and water - a cardigan or sweatshirt.

Alternative breakfast. There are, within spitting distance of the Black Bear Diner, all of the usual fast food joints. There is more to see and do in St George too if you want a longer stop, but the trick is balancing it - get enough stop time to re-charge, drink water, use the bathroom, and then get on the road again, The Canyon awaits.

The last hour of your trip is very different.  As you climb higher, the terrain finally turns from desert to green, there is a lot to see.

You are at altitude.  Expect much fresher, cooler air than Vegas, and expect a little light-headedness... Drink water, take your time.

If you drive in the dark - Be super careful, change drivers, stay awake.

A Trusted Death: Death Valley

Download This Itinerary Here

Take Water. Take Sun Cream.

Death Valley is about the adventure. Deciding an itinerary is very much a 'pick and mix' as distances are so big that really you could drive all week and not cover it all. Below is our suggested Itinerary but first here are the points of interest according to Wikipedia you may want to visit in whichever order you like.

A 5 -7 Hour Itinerary

Vegas to Rhyolite. First stop isn't technically Death Valley but a great stop off, a Ghost Town in Nevada.  This isn't a stage set, this is a real ghost town before heading into the really strange world of Death Valley.

Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes. If you feel like you're in Star Wars, that's because it was filmed here.

To Furnace Creak. The drive here will take you through the heart of Death Valley, including Beaty Junction.  There is a visitors centre and a chance to leave the car and refresh at the Furnace Creak Visitors Centre.  A nice museum explaining the area, and an oasis of water-filling opportunities.

To Badwater Basin via Artists Drive.  Artists Drive is a little side road that will take you around an 'off road' course of beauty for five minutes or so. Badwater Basin is further down the track you were on and is a stunning salt flat with strange shapes in the ground.  Truly memorable.

Badwater Basin to 20 Mule Team Road. Taking you back on yourself, you're beginning your journey back to Vegas now, and just like Artist's Drive, 20 Mule Road is an off-road road which drives you through an area like you're on Mars. Great fun, not for the bad car...

To Bonnie Springs Ranch. Just before you arrive back in Vegas, stop at Bonnie Springs.  This is a fun place, where Wild West Stunt Shows take place, and a petting zoo surrounds.  Eat here.  In Trusted's opinion, the greatest steak in the world is home-cooked here.  If you manage to arrive around 5 or 6pm you will arrive just after the crowds leave and you'll get a quiet, home-cooked food that will make you forget you were ever in a city...

The Neon Museum also called the Neon Boneyard.  This is the perfect end to a ghostly day, the old neon signs of Vegas live here, and it must be seen at night.

YOU are in charge - regardless of what any itinerary, trusted website, guidebook, or map may tell you, you must make sure that you take control of the situation.  It is a huge area which will take you into temperatures that are not safe if your car is no ready for it. The excitement of the danger is matched by the excitement of the scenery.  Lunar landscapes, long stretching roads, salt lakes... There is very little there, whilst also having a great deal there to see from a geological point of view.

Vegas to Rhyolite. A long journey to begin at around 2 hours.  The distances after this are shorter, and stranger.  As usual, fill up the tank and the water whenever possible.

Rhyolite to Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes. Half an hour.

Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes to Furnace Creak - half an hour.  Get a souvenir from the gift shop!

Furnace Creek to Artists Drive 28 minutes

Artists Drive to Badwater Basin 21 minutes.

Badwater Basin to 20 Mule Team Road 30 minutes.

20 Mule Team Road to Bonnie Springs Ranch 1 hour 50 minutes.

Bonnie Springs Ranch to The Strip 45 minutes.

The Neon Museum must be booked in advance, so book a time that allows you to get back from Death Valley with good time. They don't release tour tickets in great advance so you may have to keep this page at hand when you get to Vegas, don't be put off, this is a brilliant thing to do. Book at tour here.

Welcome to Venice.  Ish.

Welcome to Venice.  Ish.

More endurance. As with the first itinerary, you have a goal but if you get there or not doesn’t matter.

A light breakfast at Café Belle Madeleine.  In the Paris, head for the Elevators.  Just before you leave the casino you’ll see this Café.

Walk through the tunnel connecting Paris and Bally’s. Lots to do along the walkway, from Paris to Bally’s, shops and such.  But mostly, it's a walkway.

Bally's. This is Downtown on the Strip, as is The Flamingo coming up soon, we’ll just say they’re a nice gambling stop but there’s not a great deal else to spend time on.

Cross the road from Bally’s to The Cromwell.  Soak up the opulence in this boutique hotel.

Cross The Strip to Caesers Palace.  The Forum Shops at Caesers are huge. You can also buy tickets to use hte pools here, they are spectacular, it costs around 20 dollars pp.

The Linq is a new Hotel, with a big wheel you can ride called The High Roller. The road opposite Caesers Palace which leads to the big wheel is also an exciting new area with various pubs, shops, bard, restaurants, and even a cupcake cash point… Yes, a cupcake cashpoint, where you can design your own cupcake and out it comes…

Fresh fruit cocktails at the Squeeze bar. It is outdoors near the start of your trip down the road to the High Roller.  The cocktails are made fresh in front of your eyes and there are many to chose from.

Ride the High Roller. Or don’t, up to you.  IF you like big wheels, you'll like this! But if you’ve not yet seen a view of Vegas from the air, why not now!

Lunch at Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen and Bar. If you’re not hungry yet, then perhaps wait for The Venetian which has an abundance of food options, mostly all delicious.

Time for a walk down through, or past, another Vegas old school casino on The Strip – Harrah’s.  And round the corner until you reach the might of the Venetian.

The Venetian.  You will get lost. Its just huge. There are lots of shops, and you could ride a Gondola if you like, or perhaps sit and watch others ride them…

Use The Walkway for The Mirage. If you time this well, you could go and watch The Beatles LOVE, a great Cirque Du Soleil show.

Tram from Mirage to Treasure Island. Check out Treasure Island, if you’ve got kids the pirate show is worth watching!

The Fashion Show Mall is next door.  A wealth of shops from Tiffany’s to Top Shop, and though this means a walk outdoors, you are then very close to the one and only…

Wynn Las Vegas - the place where Royalty stay.  You really must visit the Wynn.  Celebrate your journey achieved by sitting overlooking the lake with a cup of tea, coffee, champagne, etc.

You're not far from a monorail station, if you want a quick route back, but then The Peppermill, The Stratosphere, and Downtown all aren't far in a Taxi either so lots of choices for evening meals if you need one.

This walk takes you again from our Trusted Centerpoint but this time heading South.  Your aim?  Reach the Wynn… and back!

Location - It is right at the start of your journey, and as we’re going to eat a nice afternoon meal, just get something SMALL.

See sights like the Trevi Fountains, a large slice of (almost) Rome around every corner, and shops that can eat up hours of your time if you so wish.  We'd like you to leave an hour or so before lunch, crossing back across the strip.

You know we advise to never buy your own drinks in Vegas – there’s a free one waiting with the next cocktail waitress… Well this place is a great.

When you’re done at the High Roller walk back through the Linq, a delicious meal awaits.

BUT Guy Fieri’s is a great stop, and going during the day means less waiting time.  You may have to wait in line but usually only for ten minutes or so. The truffle fries will stun you, the entire menu matches.

This is a fair amount of outdoor walking – about 10 minutes - in the heat, but it’s doable after lunch.

Check out our pages on Cirque shows and follow the link to book.

You may have got the impression we prefer the walk South on the Strip, and that is only because it seems easier – less outdoors walking in the heat.  But the hotels at this end are well within reach, and the Wynn just must be seen.

Singular Trips Out

Like optional upgrades, here are some extra trips you can take for a morning, afternoon or evening in need of filling.

Las Vegas Premium Outlets North. High end goods at budget prices. You’ve had more options for high-end shops than you could hope. But there are endless shops selling the same things at huge discounts! Every taxi drive knows where they are. If you are Downtown or nearer the Wynn-end of the strip, Premium Outlets North are for you.

Las Vegas Premium Outlets South  - as with Premium Outlets North, the South are very similar, great brands and bargain prices.  Ask the taxi for the South ones if you’re central strip, or closer to the Mandalay bay end.

The Titanic Exhibition. At Luxor there are real artefacts from The Titanic.  The museum is a great telling of the story, experiential as with The Mob Museum (mentioned in the Downtown Itinerary). A giant piece of the Titanic is there, but luggage, a narrative journey, something for all ages.

Mount Charleston. You can Ski in Vegas!  (But only in winter).  Mount Charleston is around 40 minutes from Vegas, and is a mostly green mountain paradise. The Resort on Mount Charleston, and the Mount Charleston lodge, are both lovely alpine places with very low fees.  A night up the mountain would be a great escape if you’re in Vegas for a week.

Nevada State Railroad Museum Boulder City. If you decide to drive out to Lake Mead, or The Hoover Dam, why not stop at this quirky railway yard.  Huge old trains sit, able for you to climb aboard, even a short trip on one down the tracks and back. Good fun.

The Wedding Chapel is of course one of Vegas' most famous icons.  There are hundreds across the city and thousands of weddings per year.  If you want to go and see one, we'd recommend The Little White Wedding Chapel.  It is between the Stratosphere and Downtown on the Las Vegas Boulevard, and is where such celebrities as Elvis, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, and Britney and Justin famously tied the knot. You can renew your wedding vows at any chapel, which is much more enjoyable and moving than you expect!  If you want to actually get married in Vegas check out the rules relating to your state or country, and those relating to Clark County (Las Vegas' county) at the Mariage Beuero Website.

The best and worst things about these malls is that they are outside.  The shops, of course, are air conditioned at the Outlets, they just need to be walked between, which in the sun means a lot of water.

There are often deals for Titanic. 2 for 1 tickets and such.  You can buy your tickets in advance, or look in the hotel/Taxi magazines for vouchers..

It's around 10 degrees cooler up the mountain.
