If this is you....

1.  I really want to pay as little as possible without being in danger.

2.  I normally stay in 3 star hotels, am happy with that.

3.  I like the idea of small, if a little dark and smokey.

4.  I don't mind walking five minutes to The Strip proper.

5.  I don't mind Hooters!

Then Hooters is for you.

You can get a really great room rate here.  I don't think it feels like a Strip Hotel in that it has the air of an older Downtown hotel, or perhaps the place that would appear in a movie on a road trip... But this is very close to the strip, next to the Tropicana and MGM Grand (over the road).
