Our favourite central spot for first timers is this area on The Strip. We strongly recommend one of these...

Trusted's favourite for first timers, because it is 4 star quality without breaking the bank.  Steps away from The Miracle Mile shops, a cocktail at the Cosmo, the Bellagio fountains, Caesars, Bally's hotel (adjoined)... Access to a taste of everything you could want on The Strip, without miles of walking. More on the Paris.

3 Caesars Palace

You've seen it in the movies, and its one of the biggest hotels in the world.  High-end shops and plentiful pools...  Roman opulence. We prefer The Paris, due to the sheer size and complexity, but that means bigger choice in everything from shops to pools. More on Caersars Palace.

5 Ballys

A taste of downtown on the strip.  The old, beige, 70's feel of Vegas is still alive on the strip, and right next to all the action.  Want to live in a 70's movie but central location? This is a great choice (along with the flamingo a few doors down).  Affordable and old-school, well worth the budget. More on Bally's here.

7 Vdara

No smoking, no gambling, the option for the quiet life without actually leaving the city!

Central: it is set back behind the cosmopolitcan and some rooms overlook the Bellagio fountains with a view over trusted's centre-spot of vegas. Quiet.  This is a non-casino hotel, if you are put off by gambling and smoking, but want central, this is the perfect choice. More on the Vdara.

2 Planet Hollywood

Great location. The young and beautiful like it here, but without paying the young and beautiful prices of the Cosmo over the road. One or two good restaurants, and facilities are good. More on Planet Hollywood.

4 The Cosmopolitan

Looking to splash out and be at the hippest of the hip?

This is your choice if you want to spend, be central, and get the best.  A shiny beautiful hotel, for the shiny and beautiful people. Young and pretty, like many guests, the pool overlooking the strip will excite you.  The cosmo is exclusive, so much so we can't give you a link here, but get on google and find them to book!

6 The Cromwell

This is a beutiful new hotel.  The Cromwell is classed as a 'boutique hotel' in Vegas terms.  It's still ten times bigger than the average Parisian (europe Paris) boutique hotel. But it has a level of decadence, attention to detail, and a luxry that make it a delight. If you want to be cooler and more exclusive than the crowd at the Cosmo, or you just love quality and are put off by the huge size of the other hotels, read more on The Cromwell.

8 The Bellagio

Perhaps the most famous hotel in Las Vegas, due to the lake and fountains.  A lakeside room is a view well worth the money.  Trusted prefer the Paris over the road because the Bellagio has huge numbers of people heading in and out at any one time, and this can make staying there - particularly checking in and out - a little tiresome.  But there's no hiding from it, if you want to feel dead center, and don't mind paying for it, The Bellagio is a superb hotel.
